Dr. Yassin is a board-certified Periodontist trained at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, with 8 years of experience in general dentistry! Dr. Yassin is passionate about providing Georgia Smile Team patients with optimum care for all of their periodontal dental needs. With emphasis on oral health, the relationship between periodontal disease and overall health, and implant dentistry, she is kind, patient and deeply devoted to excellence in patient care!

Dr. W BRUCE FINK, DDS

Dr. Fink is a general dentist that focuses on general dentistry, endodontics, implant dentistry, and full arch aesthetics. He has successfully performed dental implant procedures since 2001. With a Dental Degree from the esteemed Indiana University School of Dentistry, Dr. Fink has studied implant dentistry all over the world, mastering his comprehensive approach to patient care.

In addition to loving his patients and the artistry of great dentistry, Dr. Fink spends weekends entertaining friends and family on Lake Lanier! An enthusiastic Kansas City Chiefs fan, he sticks by his squad in good times and bad. An active member of the PRCA of the Pro Rodeo Cowboys Association, Dr. Fink was a stock contractor and contestant for 25 years during his dental career. Dr. Fink works with many local nonprofit organizations providing dental services to those in need.

** What is a fixed provisional, and how is that different from the final prosthesis?

Provisional teeth are made of PMMA and ceramic materials. They look, feel, and function like natural teeth. On the day of surgery, your provisional teeth are placed on the dental implants and remain in place for 3-6 months, allowing the appropriate amount of time for your jaw bone to adhere to the implants. After your bone securely heals to the implants, you will then return to design your final “forever” teeth, usually made of zirconia, or other high-quality material determined by your Doctor.
